Rewind

Our community-based research is difficult to finish because we have a lot of schoolwork to do at the same time.  We conducted research about the disaster preparedness of Bantay. We only have a limited amount of time to finish it. But I'm thankful for the help we provide for one another. There's also a time when we almost fought because we didn't know what to do.

The interview step was quite stressful. The person we needed to speak with wasn't there every time we went to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for interviews. But we were able to conduct the interviews in the end, despite the frustrating experience. Every night we work on our parts, and we also try to communicate while doing our parts via Messenger. We made sure to keep each other updated on our progress and ask for help when needed. Despite the challenges, we were able to work together as a team and complete the project on time.

In the end, we have had an incredible experience working on this community based-research. We now know more about our community. Doing this research also helped us enhance our patience and social skills. Overall, despite the challenges we faced during the interview process and our short time, we were able to successfully complete our research and gain information into our community. This experience has not only expanded our knowledge but also improved our teamwork and communication skills.
