Exploring My Depths: Know Me Better

One day my parents asked me what I want to be when I grow up. I answered " i don't know" to them because I didn't have a clear answer yet. The next day, while sitting at my table very early in the morning, a sudden thought occupied my mind. I realized that I needed to step out of my comfort zone. To explore the things I like and the things I'm good at. During this exploration, I discovered that there are many things that I'm good at, such as playing scrabble, badminton, and even driving a motor vehicle. Exploring things is a happy thing to do.

As puberty hits me, my interests started to change. Back then, I'm not a fan of watching movies because I find it very boring but now it's my favorite thing to do. I found comfort in peaceful & quiet place. I can be loud sometimes but ironically, I really dislike noisy places because they irritate me. On the other hand, there were things I didn't enjoy such as being in a crowded place and when people are clingy to me. When puberty hit me, I developed a strong connection for savory foods and also listening to music. My preference was to stay at home because I found it peaceful. Moreover, I still didn't know what I wanted to be when I grow up, it felt like I hadn't finished exploring yet.

As I got older I got to know myself better. I  learned that discovering who we are is a journey that is infinite. It's okay if we don't know what we want from the start. Every lesson we learn in life teaches us something important about who we are and who we want to become. Life is like a decision every experience and mistakes, it teaches us something new about our self. So, don't be scared of stepping out from your comfort zone.
