Agbiag Vigan!

Image
Vigan is a famous destination known for its old structures and streets influenced by Spanish architecture. Recently, they celebrated a festival with lots of events and activities. One of the events is the Longganisa Festival, and they also held a pageant called "Miss Vigan" and Education Day. During this festival, people can watch parades with colorful floats, street dancing, and participate in activities that showcase Vigan's traditions. It's a celebration that highlights both the city's history and its tasty food.   One of the things I watched at the festival is a marching band showdown. Every school had talented marching bands, but the marching band from ISNHS stood out. They were so good that they became the champions.        The Boy Scouts of the Philippines also joined the Vigan City Grand Parade. They looked really cool and it was satisfying to watch them march in their uniforms. In simple words, the Vigan Festival was amaz...

Still in Progress

I learned a lot in Mrs. Evelyn's class over the 2nd quarter. In the beginning, coding seemed really hard since I'm just starting out. But as time went by, I began to enjoy the lessons and activities more. Even though they were challenging, they helped me understand the basics of coding.      I appreciated how Mrs. Evelyn provided us with lots of activities; they made it easier for me to understand the lessons. The assignments she gave us were simple too. Through them, I learned the basics of coding and even learned how to use Notepad.      During the second quarter, I realized I struggle with remembering things and sometimes find it hard to think whats right. Once, during an activity, I got stuck and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Coding can be tricky, but it's also enjoyable.     Moving on, I'm determined to keep working hard to get better. I understand that making mistakes is a natural part of learnin...

Jose Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda is the national hero of the Philippines. He made a big difference for us Filipinos. Dr. Rizal also try to make our country better.                Rizal really cared about education. He thought learning was super important for making progress. He wanted changes in the way we learn, focusing on knowledge and thinking smart. He emphasize the importance of knowledge.      Rizal also wanted all Filipinos to come together, no matter where they're from or how much money they had. He believed that if we work together, we can make things better for everyone. This idea helped create a stronger and more united society, where everyone felt like they belonged.      Instead of using guns, Rizal chose to fight with words to get freedom. He knew that words could make people think and come together against bad things. This smart and peaceful way of fi...

Better Me

Image
In the year 2023, lots of things happened – some good, some not so good. Now, in 2024, my main goal is to make myself better. There's a saying, "New Year, New Me," and I want to be healthier and more patient. The most important thing for me this year is to become a better version of myself.      One thing I want to do is drink more water. I noticed I didn't drink much water last year; I mostly drankflavored drinks. So, this year, I want to change that and drink more water. Because I know how important water is to health in general, I want to change this habit and make drinking more water a priority. I'm also cutting down on screen time. Too much time in front of screens isn't good, so I want to spend less time on them and focus on important things.  I also found out I'm not very patient. I don't like waiting, and I avoid situations that test my patience. In 2024, I want to work on this. When things get tough and might make me lose my calm, ...
